Career
Trained computer scientist, I now have over seven years of experience in computing applied to the biology field, including three as a team leader. Throughout the years, I developed many professional skills like, for instance, bioinformatics, web application development and team management.
Computing
My interest in programming goes back to when I was 12 years old. It was at that age that I taught myself the ST BASIC language. Still today, I enjoy bringing myself up to date on recent programming technologies and methodologies. In order to do so, I regularly consult specialized news sources (InfoQ, DZone and others). Then, when it's adequate, I apply the knowledge at work or in personal projects.
Other interests
In parallel to my interest in computer science, my fondness for life sciences pushes me, for example, to take an active part in the analysis and the interpretation of the laboratory data at work. Furthermore, my passion for history and culture have driven me to undertake many discovery trips and today compels me to seek work outside my region.
